What is X??

X was established as a patent medicine business at Bombay in 1893 by K.Nageshwara Rao Pantulu who was a journalist, social reformer and   a freedom fighterThe headquarters were shifted to Chennai in 1914. To the present day,the words "Bombay" are inscribed along with X in the lid of its most well-known product. In 1936, X became a public limited company with the name X Limited. Nageswara Rao popularised X by distributing it free-of-cost at music concerts.
